How Waterhub Works?

The fundamental concept behind the development of Waterhub™ is to automate the manual process of data collection using instrumentation and IOT devices. The software is easily configurable to monitor analog signals from water treatment plants and store the data in a historian. With minimal effort, users can access historical data, track and compare trends, and monitor system performance. In the realm of quality, it is commonly acknowledged that "you cannot improve what you do not measure." Therefore, the collection of historical data is the initial step towards system enhancement and optimization.

In addition to data collection, Waterhub™ has the capability to predict when membrane cleaning is required, analyze the effectiveness of cleaning, and visualize water treatment equipment activity. Serving as an additional monitoring tool for the system, it can send alerts (via SMS and/or email) when operating parameters deviate from the norm. Moreover, it can assist operators in generating semi-customizable periodic reports to communicate performance and regulatory compliance information.

All of these functionalities are made possible through a secure remote connection to existing control or SCADA systems, which are continuously monitored through cyber security controls.
